ENTRY 3 - GOD IS IN CONTROL
KEEP YOUR FOCUS - LIGHTHOUSE BY THE SEA
TEN PREDICTIONS FOR THE YEAR
1. THE BIBLE WILL STILL BE THE SWORD OF OUR FAITH.
Hebrews 4.12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2. PRAYER WILL STILL BE THE MOST POWERFUL THING ON EARTH.
Matthew 21.22 And all things ye ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
John 15.7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Philippians 4.6,7 Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and your minds through Christ.
3. THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL STILL MOVE -
Genesis 1.2,3. And the Spirit of God was upon the face of the deep. And God said, Let there be light, and there was light.
Romans 8.14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God.
2 Cor. 4.6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
REMEMBER THAT THE SPIRIT HOVERS OVER THE DARKNESS AND THE DEPTHS OF LOST SOULS - THEN THE LIGHT WILL BREAK FORTH AND SHATTER THE DARKNESS THROUGH CHRIST OUR LORD JESUS.
4. GOD WILL STILL HONOR THE PRAISES AND THE PRAYERS OF HIS PEOPLE.
Psalm
1 Corinthians 1.9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Matthew 7.7,8
Ask, and it shall be given unto you, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you; for every one that asketh receiveth, and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
5.THERE WILL STILL BE GOD-ANOINTED PREACHING.
Matthew 28.18 - 20
All power and authority is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe whatsoever things I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
2 Timothy 2.1,2
Thou, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and the things which thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also.
Hebrews 10. 23 - 25
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised, and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to do good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but
exhorting one another, and so much the more, as you see the day approaching.
Ephesians 4.11 - 14.
11. And he gave some apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors and teachers
12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
13. Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.
6. THERE WILL STILL BE PEOPLE SINGING TO GOD
Psalm 89. 1 I will sing of the mercies of the
Lord forever; with my mouth
will I make known
thy faithfulness to all generations.
Psalm 104.33.34. I will sing unto the Lord
as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God
while I have any being. My meditation of
Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in Him.
Ephesians 5.19, 20
Speaking to yourselves in
psalms
and hymns
and spiritual songs,
singing
and making melody
in your heart
to the Lord
Giving thanks always
for all things
unto God and the Father
in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ps. 96.2
Sing unto the LORD, bless His name, shew
forth his salvation from day to day.
Henry preached in this church
located in Antelope OR
It is now a "ghost town"
deserted and alone
but wherever there are
people,
there will be
THOSE WHO CAN AND WILL SING
Because they have been born again,
redeemed
and
changed
into
a
new creature.
We sing a new song
because we KNOW THE LIVING ONE
THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
The people who attended that day
in church sang with us.
Every day a person
is somewhere being
born again
and
becomes
a
new creature
in Christ Jesus
2 Corinthians 5.17
Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature, old things are passed
away; behold,
all things are become new.
7. COUNT ON IT - GOD WILL STILL POUR OUT HIS BLESSINGS UPON HIS PEOPLE.
Luke 1.47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior
This is what Mary declared when she visited Elizabeth.
Even as she was full of praise, remember that FIRST God blessed her with the announcement of Jesus' coming birth.
We are promised Blessing for putting our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus has given us His words - further blessing us -
because God gave His stamp of approval upon the Apostles, and indeed they went forth proclaiming the Gospel. Today we can count upon God in the same way, for Christ is coming soon.
Christ will come to take us HOME by catching us up into the air -
Blessing for the person who trusts in the Lord.
Blessing for the person who hides God's word in His heart.
Blessing for the person who takes Christ as His Savior and Lord.
Blessing for the person who lets the Holy Ghost rule and reign within his life, leading him, guiding him.
8. THIS YEAR THERE IS STILL ROOM AT THE CROSS FOR YOU.
Is there room for me ?
Y E S There is room.
9. THIS YEAR, JESUS WILL STILL LOVE YOU.
Romans 5.8 But God commendeth his love
toward us, in that while we were yet sinners
Christ died for us.
10. THIS YEAR , GOD WILL STILL SAVE WHOEVER WILL COME TO HIM AND SAY I AM A SINNER....SHOW ME THE WAY.
HE IS COMING SOON. HIS PROMISE IS SURE.
HE WILL TAKE US HOME
AT THE SOUND OF THE TRUMPET
HIS VOICE WILL CALL US UP,
AND WE SHALL NOT BE HERE ANY MORE.
WE SHALL BE WITH JESUS.
THAT DAY IS SOON COMING ----
A DAY IS THE EVENING AND THE
MORNING
GENESIS 1.5
AND THE EVENING
AND THE MORNING
WERE THE FIRST DAY.
THE FUTURE
IS AS BRIGHT
AS THE PROMISES
OF GOD.
GOD ALWAYS KEEPS
HIS PROMISES
THAT IS MY PREDICTION.
JESUS WAS PRESENTED IN THE TEMPLE
FORTY DAYS AFTER HE WAS BORN
SIMEON WAS WAITING TO PRAISE
GOD FOR THE PROMISED MESSIAH
HE DECLARED
"Lord now lettest thy servant depart in peace,
according to thy word,
for mine eyes have seen
THY SALVATION ( Y'SHUA )
which thou hast prepared
before the face of all people,
a light to lighten the Gentiles,
and the glory of thy people Israel.
His hope was to see the Messiah
before he died,
for God had told him
he would not die until he had seen Him
Now you and I wait
for Jesus to R E T U R N
