AS SCRUB JAYS ARE CARED FOR
SO TOO WE HAVE NEEDS GOD PROVIDESFOR IN OUR LIVES. Philippians 4.19 BUT MY GOD SHALL SUPPLY ALL YOUR NEED ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY BY CHRIST JESUS.
MAN'S NEED
I. BASIC NEED - ASPIRATION
AMBITION
AN ASPIRATION
SOMETHING
TO
REACH
THAT
IS
HIGHER
THAN
THEY
ARE.
Many people fail to strive toward a goal.
One who has trusted in God by faith through the Lord Jesus Christ has the need to strive for God's best.
II. Basic Need - Character
God is the One who knows if He can trust us with the best.
John chapter 2, verse 23 - 25
Now when he was in Jerusalem
at the Passover,
in the feast day,
many believed in
his name,
when they
saw the miracles
which he did.
But Jesus did not
commit himself
unto them,
because he knew
all men.
And needed not
that any should testify
of man;
for he knew what
was in man.
Jesus knows all about me.
Have I trusted Him to
help me build
character?
III. BASIC NEED - FIDELITY
OR DEVOTION, LOYALTY
Steadfastness
in midst of
difficulties
Matthew 10.38
He that taketh not his cross
and followeth after me, is
not worthy of me.
Matthew 6.33
But seek ye first
the kingdom of God
and His righteousness,
and all
these things
shall be added unto
you.
IV. BASIC NEED - PUTTING GOD'S
PLACE FOR OUR LIFE.
I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 12 - KJV - AUTHORIZED BIBLE
Paul an example
of putting
God's Place
for my life
totally committed.
VI. BASIC NEED - WORK
Proverbs 11.3
The integrity of the upright
shall guide them.
Proverbs 10.5
He that gathereth in summer
is a wise son: but he
that sleepeth in
harvest
is a son
that causeth
shame.
Work is important.
No task too small.
There is always something
I can do.
I Corinthians 4.2
It is required in stewards,
that a man be found faithful.
VI. BASIC NEED - COURAGE
We must be willing
to suffer
for His cause.
IN CHAPTER 12 OF
I CORINTHIANS
WE HAVE PAUL'S
EXAMPLE.
Romans 5.8
But God commendeth
his love to,ward us
in that while we
were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
Romans 5.9
Much more then, being
justified by His blood, we
shall besaved from
wrath through Him.
Christ has done so much
for us
We are debtors
yet
never
ever
do
we
earn
salvation
never
ever
do
we
work
to
gain
God's favor.
GOD FREELY GIVES
US THE SUPPLY
WE NEED
TO
BUILD
OUR LIVES
UPON.
